Henrik Bruun Williams (svenskt uttal: [ˈvɪlːɪams]), född 16 oktober 1958 i Kalmar, [1] är runolog, filolog och sedan 2002 [2] professor i nordiska språk vid Uppsala universitet. Williams disputerade 1990 vid Uppsala universitet med en avhandling om åsrunan. Han är gift med Anna Williams.

Runic research at Uppsala University has received a donation of USD 15,000 from Swedish-American Myrna G. Smith. Williams received his PhD at Uppsala University in 1990 and became a Senior Lecturer, later Associate Professor, at the Department of Scandinavian languages at that university. In 1998, Williams served as Visiting Associate Professor at University of California, Berkeley. Henrik Williams’ responsibilities include Old Swedish, Old Icelandic and runology. Recently he went on his eighth lecture tour in the USA in order to increase interest in runes and obtain resources for research.
